Suite Six is a one bedroom suite that has the advantage of facing the Pap of Glencoe mountain and contains a master bedroom with separate dressing room, a generously sized sitting room and large bathroom. It was such an intimate and private experience being in your own cosy setting at dinner – the food was delicious. The suites have ‘maxi’ bars and they are incredibly reasonably priced. The bathroom offers decadence whether you yearn to sip champagne in the original Victorian, free standing roll top bath or enjoy the walk-in shower. This shower, designed by Hansgrohe, has a 300mm shower head where water and air are blended to emit large rain drops. This technology envelops your entire body in a cloudburst of hot water; while also being environmentally friendly. The bathroom toiletries extend the sense of care with the Highland Soap Company range of products ‘with an emphasis on fresh organic, wild harvested ingredients and herbal therapy, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands’.

Their Everly Pendants helped anchor the island, without becoming obtrusive in views, adding so much character to their kitchen. The L-Shape of the original kitchen was making the space pretty limited. So we changed up the layout with a small island in the middle, and offered some more practical storage solutions, along with a little eye candy. The size and charm of the suites at Glencoe House are unprecedented in Scotland and indeed the UK.

The warm ambiance of the bathroom is created by the soft caramel coloured tiles and the candles. Choose between the roll top in the bedroom or the Japanese style bath in the bathroom. It is very deep bath but is shorter than a conventional bath; it is great for relaxing the shoulders and neck. Suite Eight bathroom has a Hansgrohe raindance shower, which has generously sized Aveda products. The room has a WC and handwash basin with Penhaligon products for your enjoyment.

A welcome breakfast pack is included, although guests have to prepare and cook their breakfast which has the advantage of allowing you to stay in your pyjamas and relax without being interrupted by waiting staff. Glencoe House is composed of two concepts, The Glencoe House Suites and The Strathcona Lodges.
A 25-minute drive from Fort William, Glencoe House offers accommodations in 10 acres of private gardens.
